Generous hospitality is an integral part of demonstrating Christ’s love to one another and volunteers have the opportunity to be part of that mission. From welcoming newcomers to singing with children, there are many different ways to use your gifts. Volunteering allows you to meet a real, present need while also experiencing the joy of sharing your gifts with your community.
Sunday Service Team
Extend Jesus’ hospitality
Serve once a month with a Sunday Service Team. The Welcome Team warmly greets everyone coming to worship, Ushers answer questions and guide people to available seating, and the Communion Team prepares the communion elements for the congregation.
Children’s Ministry
Share God’s love with the littlest among us
We love our kids! We want them to know Jesus, and we want to grow a community that feels the same. Help build a community where children learn how to pray and worship and are immersed in Scripture. Volunteers demonstrate God’s love through compassionate care, and encourage and support families to love neighbors and serve the city.
Youth Ministry
Build community for tweens and teens
Join a tight community of students, leaders and parents exploring and growing in the freedom and joy that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings. Volunteers help build a safe and loving community that walks with our tweens and teens during a crucial time in their lives.
Community Groups & Collectives
Lead or host a group
Community Groups and Collectives are where our congregants are most known and cared for in our community, so we are always seeking new leaders and hosts. In leaders, we’re looking for members (or those on the path toward membership) of Redeemer East Side who exhibit a passion for God, a compassion for people and a teachable spirit.
