We are honored to welcome Joel E. Kim as our guest speaker. Rev. Kim is a Ligonier Ministries teaching fellow, president and assistant professor of New Testament at Westminster Seminary California in Escondido, Calif., a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, and a Ph.D. candidate at Calvin Theological Seminary. He is the featured teacher for the Ligonier teaching series Everything in Christ and the author of Romans: Nothing but Grace.

Tuscarora Resort has a variety of beautiful lodging availability. Redeemer is buying out the property, giving us full access to every flexible option possible. From hotel-style rooms with beautiful views, to cozy cottages, to dorms designed for youth retreats, every space is cared for and cleaned by the staff. The campus is set right on the Delaware River, within our scenic Pocono Mountains campus. Every space is equipped with heat, A/C, modern bathrooms, and showers.

The purpose of the retreat is to gather our Redeemer East Side community in a refreshing space to unplug from the city, cultivate deep fellowship, and rest in communal worship.

To that end, retreat attendees will have the freedom to opt-in to activities throughout the weekend or enjoy some unstructured free time.

The weekend will include three worship services with teachings from Joel E. Kim, breakout time in small groups, and free time for activities such as kayaking, yoga, bonfires, and more. Tell us what activities you want to see offered in your registration form!

Participants are able to purchase an optional bus ticket when they register. There will be multiple departure time options, both leaving the city on Friday and returning on Sunday. Rest assured we will accommodate people who want to arrive early, and who want to come after work, on Friday.

If you would rather drive, the retreat is approximately a 2-hour drive from Redeemer East Side. Plenty of free onsite parking is available within a brief walk of your accommodations.
